St. Kitts, and its sister island Nevis, are english speaking islands in the northern part of the eastern caribbean, just southeast of Saba. We have been to this island once, on a cruise aboard the Seaward. The water is warm, but on the day we were there the water was not as clear as it could have been. The fish are not friendly as there had been some fishing in the area. It is a nice quiet little place that is nice to visit. We cruised through Marigold Bay, a nice bay sheltering a yachting club and where "Dr. Doolittle" was filmed.
While on our snorkeling trip, a small (1") yellow fin took up station keeping under Shelly's left elbow. Everywhere she went, there was that poor little fish, right under her elbow. (see picture 'fish under elbow')
